We are a family owned and operated firm which was first established by Attorney Kenneth H. Miller in 1973.  From our quaint office in Escondido, we proudly serve ​clients extending from the County of San Diego throughout the State of California, and we regularly represent Trustees, Executors, and Administrators who reside out of state.    

Over the years, the practice has expanded and two long time estate planning attorneys, Edward Dowd and John Wenzel, transferred the ongoing representation of their clients to Mr. Miller as they stepped back from the practice of law.

​In 2004, Kenneth's son, Michael I. Miller, joined the firm.  Working side by side with his father, Michael is now the managing partner of the firm and handles all aspects of the practice ranging from estate planning and trust administration to probate and corporation law.

The firm has maintained family continuity and in 2015, another of Kenneth's sons, Brandon D. Miller, joined the firm after a successful marketing career in the sports and entertainment industry.  

As with any small business, the dedicated and experienced staff are what keep the office running smoothly.  Their knowledge, warmth and attention to detail help create a positive and friendly environment that clients truly enjoy.

Kenneth H. Miller

Michael I. Miller

Kenneth H. Miller received a B.A. from California State University - Northridge, and his law degree from California Western School of Law in 1973.  He has been practicing law in Escondido continuously since 1973, having moved the law practice into our current location on Escondido Blvd. in 1986.  With well over 40 years of experience, Mr. Miller has seen firsthand the need for, and benefits of, properly documenting estate plans.​​

​Michael I. Miller received a B.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2001, and his law degree from California Western School of Law in 2004.  Since being admitted to practice law in 2004, Mr. Miller has become a member of both the San Diego North County Bar Association and the American Inns of Court – Fiorenzo V. Lopardo Chapter.  He is also an active Rotarian and served as President of the Escondido East Rotary Club for 2016-2017. 

Brandon D. Miller

Brandon D. Miller received a B.S. from the University of Arizona in 2001, a Masters Degree from the George Washington University in 2006, and his law degree from Western Sierra Law School in 2017.  Brandon joined the firm in 2015 after a successful 14 year marketing career in the Sports and Entertainment Industry.
